Wellmade Has Been Awarded The Coveted Floorscore Indoor Air Quality Certification

Wellmade Floor Coverings International, Inc. is proud to announce it has been awarded the coveted FloorScore Indoor Air Quality Certification for a full-range of solid and engineered strand woven bamboo flooring, as well as traditional horizontal and vertical bamboo flooring. The certification was issued through SCS Global Services (SCS) and confirms an independent third-party assessment has been completed assessing the quality management of Wellmade's Nanjing (Jiangsu

Province, China) manufacturing facility and bamboo flooring emissions based on strict indoor air quality performance standards.

Wellmade's FloorScore Certification assures conformance with the VOC emissions parameters established by the State of California's CDPH/EHLB/Standard Method (aka CA Section 01350) as applied to sensitive indoor air quality environments, including school classroom and private office parameters. Products carrying the FloorScore Certification also meet a host of additional environmental standards, ranging from USGBC LEED 2009 Criteria for EQ4.3 (Flooring) and Green Guide to Healthcare 2007 Criteria, EQ 4.3 to ANSI/ASHRAE/USGBC/IES Standard 189.1-2009, Section 8.4.2.3: Floor Covering Materials.

With the addition of FloorScore Certification, Wellmade joins an elite group of manufacturers producing premium bamboo flooring products recognized to provide the indoor air quality assurance that customers are seeking.

SCS Global Services (SCS) has been providing global leadership in third-party environmental and sustainability certification, auditing, testing, and standards development for nearly three decades.
