Guangdong Province has launched regular helicopter trips between cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
The so-called "flying taxi" service will reduce travel time between the three cities to about half an hour from over two hours on the road.
The aircraft flies every Friday afternoon at a price of 3-thousand yuan, or 460 U.S. dollars, for each passenger.
The intercity flight is reportedly the first of its kind on the Chinese mainland.
