Graphic Packaging International is all set to introduce its new range of packaging solutions at Drinktec 2013 taking place from 16 to 20 September in Munich, Germany.
The solutions range from the development of comfortable carrying handles to total packaging systems such as Tite-Pak.
Tite-Pak, a fully enclosed packaging solution for glass bottles, includes various features that improve glass protection, reduce glass breakage and facilitate bottle light-weighting.
The company will demonstrate its new Tite-Pak on the Quikflex 2100G3 packaging machine.
Graphic Packaging senior vice president of beverage packaging Mike Schmal said the company's new packaging solutions offer tangible benefits to both manufacturers and consumers.
"Our global network of Innovation Centers allows us to share information quickly and effectively, identifying consumer needs and developing cost-effective and efficient packaging solutions," Schmal added.
Graphic Packaging will also exhibit its new Marksman X5, said to be the newest addition to the range of wrap machines for different primary containers.
At the event, the machine will be shown running wrap packages for glass bottles in single as well as double line configurations.
The company will also show its 2-piece technology, which creates packaging solutions that combine materials of different weights and physical properties to produce lighter finished packs.
