Pro Mach subsidiary IPak Machinery is set to unveil the new TF-350B tray former machine at Pack Expo in the US.
The event will take place from 6 to 9 November in Chicago.
The new TF-350 family of tray formers produces different trays, which can be used for display ready meats, cheeses, and other foods, beverages, and consumer products.
IPak’s TF-350B can be used to produce a wide range of simple and complex tray styles, including window trays. It can produce 25 units per minute.
The company has incorporated control of the Nordson glue system into the IPak HMI, which provides operators and maintenance personnel one point of control for all of TF-350B’s systems.
When performing size changes, the mandrel can be removed from the side of the tray former, helping to reduce the need to straddle an outfeed conveyor.
The machine’s case in point nickel-plated lubrication free chain will facilitate the quick-change between trays sizes.
The firm launched TF-100 four-corner tray former in 2015. Now, the firm added a larger frame to accommodate agricultural and other packing operations requiring a larger and deeper mix of trays.
According to the company, the TF-100 produces aesthetically pleasing four-corner trays for nearly every application, including window trays.
