High Point's Made in America Pavilion Was Aimed at Featuring More Than 40 Exhibitors

More than 40 exhibitors - including 17 new ones - in the furniture, bedding, lighting, rugs, wall art and decorative accessories categories at the High Point Market's Made in America Pavilion next month.

The pavilion, in Suites at Market Square Made, debuted at the October 2011 High Point Market. This year's fall market runs Oct. 13-18.

"This is the third market for the Made in America Pavilion, and since its launch a year ago, the area has proven to be a big hit, developing into a 'can't miss' destination for retailers, designers and other buyers interested in Made in the USA product," said Julie Messner, vice president of leasing for International Market Centers.

New exhibitors showing in the space will include:

• American Gas Log and Americast Architectural Stone: Vented and vented-free gas logs, outdoor gas grills and grill islands, outdoor fire pits and gas log sets, and cast stone mantel surrounds.

• Borkholder Furniture: Amish-crafted furniture including dining room, bedroom, office, entertainment and living/occasional furniture, using time-tested techniques such as tongue-and-groove glue joints.

• DLD Exports: DLD International is an American company whose mission is to partner with American manufacturers seeking to improve their bottom lines by exporting their products and services to China.

• Fontenot Glass Designs: Custom glass sconces, pendants and chandeliers, cabinet knobs and suspended glass art designed by Carey Buckner.

• Hudson Inds.: Featuring specialty sleep products including pillows, mattress overlays and Swedish memory foam, and the Gold Medal line of beanbag chairs.

• Leather Creations: Custom leather furniture including sofas, loveseats, chairs, ottomans, recliners, sofa-sleepers, home theater seating and sectionals.

• Millcraft Handcrafted Furniture: Amish-made, solid-wood bedroom furniture in a range of traditional and transitional styles.

• Mill Wood Art: Mill Wood transforms rough-milled logs into original art in a wide variety of themes, including lighthouses and landmarks.

• Primitiques: Specialist in heirloom-quality, Colonial-style case goods and upholstered furniture using white pine, historic painting techniques and Old World woodworking methods.

• Rhino Truck & Case: Quality storage trunks and cases, including camp trunks, college trunks and footlockers in a range of styles, sizes and color options.

• Scott Thomas Furniture: High-end and custom-designed furniture including chests, cabinets, tables, desks, bookcases, bedroom furniture and seating.

• Signature Shutter Shoppe: Custom window treatments, including Signature Shutter custom wood and PolyWood interior plantation shutters.

• Tana Bana Design Services: Textile design studio specializing in jacquard and dobby upholstery, drapery and panel fabrics and wallpaper designs for residential and contract markets.

• Tucker + Hollander: Custom, hand-crafted cabinetry in natural materials with styles ranging from traditional to contemporary.

• Vieuxtemps Porcelain: Hand-sculpted, botanical-inspired porcelain painted with richly colored glazes in the style of 18th-century Meissen and Chinese pieces.

• Whit McLeod: Hand-crafted furniture from reclaimed materials, including dining, bar/entertaining, outdoor, seating and occasional tables.

• Woolrich: Furniture, bedding, home accents and rugs inspired by the outdoor lifestyle brand.

Companies returning to the pavilion include:

• Amish Impressions by Fusion Designs: Shaker-styled wood dining and bedroom furniture, rockers, chairs, benches, barstools and occasional furniture.

• Artists Guild of America: Original works of canvas art created in studios in Los Angeles, featuring paint, gel, crackle, foils, sand, decoupage paper, tissue and other unique embellishments.

• California House: Quality game room furniture, including game tables, home bars, barstools, pub tables and home theater cabinets.

• Coastal Woodcraft: Made-in-America line of custom furniture, wood moldings and cabinetry, including the licensed Seabrook Classic furniture line.

• Dixie Seating Co.: A manufacturer of handcrafted, Southern-style rustic furniture, including porch rocking chairs.

• Eddy West: Solid-wood, hand-painted beds, chairs, chests, desks, dining tables and sideboards, hutches, media centers and occasional furniture inspired by the styles of the American Old West, Colonial New England and Canada.

• Flat Rock Furniture: Producer of hand-crafted, rustic yet elegant hickory furniture, including dining, bedroom, great room and accent pieces.

• Floyd Evans: Hand-crafted seating, ottomans, benches, coatracks, corner cabinets and occasional tables in classic designs.

• Froggy Bottom Outdoor Furniture: A range of stylish casual furniture including porch swings and rockers.

• Habersham: Casually elegant custom kitchen, bath and other cabinetry in rich, opulent finishes.

• Paladin Inds.: Manufactures furniture that is meticulously hand cut, sewn and bench made to the customer's specifications.

• Shiner: Modern, eco-friendly, ready-to-assemble furnishings using recycled materials such as steel, hardwoods and linen.

• Sugarpost: Fun, funky metal art for yards and offices.

• Summit Lamp Corp.: Traditional, colonial, glass hurricane, Victorian and early Americana-style lamps.

• Sweetwater Trading Co.: Pillows made of fine European leathers in lodge, western, Native American, novelty, animal and equestrian themes.
