UPM Raflatac Launches New RH09 Hot Melt Adhesive Label for The Americas Market

UPM Raflatac, part of UPM's engineered materials business group has announced the launch of its new RH09 hot melt adhesive label for the Americas market, developed to meet the demand for food packaging labeling.

The Finnish supplier of pressure sensitive label said that the new label can be used for labeling of water bottles, point of sale information and food packaging.

The firm claims that the new labeling provides strong grip against non-polar refrigerated surfaces such as low surface energy plastics and corrugated boxes.

The label can sustain in the temperature ranging from -40degree F to 122 degree F, in moist condition without losing its adhesion quality.

UPM Raflatac employs 2,400 people and achieved sales of approximately EUR 1.1bn ($1.5bn) in 2010.
