Measurement Specialties, the US-based sensor manufacturer, has introduced a digital barometric pressure sensor in a QFN package which draws only 0.6μA.
Standby power of the MS5637 is less than 0.15μA at 25°C and supply voltage ranges from 1.5V to 3.6V.
The MEMS-based sensor has a footprint of 3 x 3 x 0.9mm.
The MS5637 uses an integrated 24-bit ADC to precisely process pressure and temperature values in as little as 0.5ms.
