Over 85,000 Activity Sheets Have Been Created Boasting Entertaining

Over 85,000 activity sheets have been created boasting entertaining and informative activities designed to help children stay safe while at home and in public.

LEGO City has partnered with Greater Manchester Police to provide primary school aged children for a Stay Safe campaign.

Over 85,000 activity sheets have been created boasting entertaining and informative activities designed to help children stay safe while at home and in public.

More than 660 primary schools across the UK will receive the hand-outs this month and children have been asked to design a new police badge for their local police force which will see the winning entrant receiving the complete new LEGO City Police range for themselves and for their school.

"LEGO CITY connects with children looking to build and role-play scenes based on every-day, recognisable sights and people," said Harry Harrison, LEGO CITY, brand manager.

"LEGO CITY Police is one of our most popular themes and the stay safe activity sheets for schools have been developed with the Greater Manchester Police in order to help reach younger children and involve them in a responsible and innovative fashion.

"JazzyMedia was identified as the perfect partner for this campaign due to the agency’s reputation for its creation and delivery of high quality resources to schools on behalf of Government agencies and charities. We had a fantastic response from a campaign we worked on together last year in conjunction with the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.  It proved so popular that GMFRS used the LEGO CITY Fire activity sheets for their own local community initiatives."

"We’re really excited with this next instalment and we’ve already seen some fantastic feedback from schools wanting to participate with our Police programme."

Youth Strategy Officer Andrew Marsden of Greater Manchester Police, added: "We are always looking for innovative ways to engage with young children in Greater Manchester and help spread the message of staying safe whether at home or out and about.

"This partnership is a fantastic example of that and the activity sheets will be used in primary schools across Greater Manchester and across the country."
