Tom Dixon Introduces Two New Scents at The MAISON&OBJET

At the MAISON&OBJET PARIS show this September, Tom Dixon has launched two new scents: Alloy and Stone, as part of their Materialism Scent range.

ALLOY

The Alloy family is made of precious wax, a contemporary fusion of amber and metal scent, encased in the raw aluminium vessel. The large and medium candles contain 10% fragrance and made from 50% soy and are fully encased in the Alloy vessel with 60 and 40-hour burn-times respectively.

Once the candle has burnt out and the wax is exhausted, the vessel lives on. The containers can be reused as a tea light holder, vase, plant pot or storage container.

STONE

The heavy, generous and deep green forest marble turned by hand in India is the material of choice for the new Stone scent range. Every rocky, rounded heavyweight container has a unique pattern and colour due to the particularities of each individual block of marble. This forms the optimum container for the dry exotic fig and sandalwood essence released by the wax and oil.

After the candle is enjoyed and the wax has been exhausted, one can reuse the vessel as tea light holder, vase, plant pot or storage container.
