German luxury carmaker Mercedes Benz has launched the new GL-Class SUV for the European market.
According to the carmaker, the GL-Class is offered in three variants which include, the GL 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC powered by V6 diesel engine, the GL 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY V8 petrol-engine and the top model GL 63 AMG powered by the V8 biturbo petrol engine.
The GL 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC offers a 190 kW (258hp) output while consuming 7.4 L/100km, the V8 petrol model, GL 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY produces an output of320kW (435hp) and 700Nm torque and consumes 11.3L/100km.
Safety features of the new GL-Class include collision prevention assist, attention assist and steer assist, while the GL 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY features active parking assist including Parktronic, intelligent light system, the keyless-go access and drive authorisation system along with the 3-zone Thermotronic automatic climate control.
Mercedes-Benz said that the GL 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC is priced at EUR60,900, the GL 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY is offered at a price of EUR79,500, while the GL 63 AMG SUV is available in Europe for EUR109,500.
