Telrol Purchases Six Xeikon CX3 Presses

Lable printer Telrol Group has purchased six Xeikon CX3 high-speed production presses.

The presses have been selected to produce quality print with standard conventional substrates, helping to increase its capacity to serve European market.

Currently, Telrol has nine Xeikon systems that feature specific toners, including ICE for the 3300 presses and QA-CH toners for the CX3 presses.

With a top speed of 30 m/min (98 ft/min), the Xeikon CX3 is a five color 1200dpi high-speed production press.

The fifth station can be used to print gamut extension colors or security colors without reducing productivity, in addition to the standard CMYK + White.

The 1200 x 3600 dpi digital press will be used in the production of self-adhesive/pressure sensitive labels.

In 2009, Telrol purchased its first Xeikon 3300 digital press. Both firms launched a pilot project with a Xeikon CX3 in the last year.

Flint Group digital printing solutions division president Wim Maes said: “This huge investment in Xeikon technology is a great endorsement for the print production quality possible. Working with such a well-respected group is also fantastic recognition of our market ready systems.”

Telrol CEO Hoessein Hadaoui said: “Once again, the investment in new Xeikon technology, gives us a head start in the industry thanks to the ability of the Xeikon CX3 to provide the highest productivity in the market of high quality label printing.”

“Being a critical business partner, Xeikon involves us in the development of their technology. Its high quality standards, excellent track record on production capabilities and food safety makes it the perfect partner for our business.”
