Tna Has Launched a New Tna Hyper-Detect 5 Metal Detector

Food packaging and processing solutions provider tna has launched a new tna hyper-detect 5 metal detector.

The new equipment helps in improving metal detection capabilities and also claims to eliminate degradation in product transfer to deliver safer throughput and reduce rejects.

The company claims that the product is the world's first non-symmetrical balanced coil metal detector with a conical aperture into the detector. The advantage of the new equipment is that the metal detector can be placed closer to the multi-head weigher which helps in increasing the speed of producing bags.

The detector's high frequency function provides stable operation for optimum sensitivity and helps in inspecting products consistently.

Despite having a unique shape and tapered chute, these features don't add any extra weight to the system. It can be installed in minimal space due to which it can run at faster speeds while maintaining high sensitivity levels.

The machine is capable of detecting ferrous contaminants from 0.8mm to 0.9mm, non-ferrous pieces up to 1.0mm and non-magnetic stainless steel from 1.0mm to 1.2mm which reduces the risk of contaminants entering the products.

Speaking about the new machine, tna group R&D manager Lawrence Roos said: "Ensuring products are contaminant free is critical in today's health and safety focused operating environments. Yet it's just not an option to sacrifice efficiency while these vital checks take place.

"The new the tna hyper-detect 5 allows manufacturers to maintain high packaging speeds while ensuring that their products are checked to the highest standards, achieving high performance operations with safety assured."
