New Brand Identity Is Geted by Ommegang Brewery

New York-based Ommegang Brewery has updated brand identity to have a better shelf appeal.

The brewery has engaged Duffy & Partners for website redesign and Flower City Printing for their printing needs of the labels and AR Metallizing for the metallized paper labels.

The move forms part of Ommegang's strategy to improve shelf appeal, create brand recognition and send the message of the superior quality of its Belgium style ales.

Brewery Ommegang communications director Larry Bennet said, "The beauty of this label is the simple yet elegant use of the silver metallized paper as a part of the design, giving the bottle a look of subtle, shimmering beauty."

Flower City Printing account executive Dana Jenkins said, "Using the metallized paper from AR Metallizing, made the final result we wanted that much easier because just by playing with opaque and transparent inks were we able to get elegant, beautiful labels that help visually evoke the quality that Ommegang Brewery is known for."

Built by Don Feinberg, an aficionado of Belgian beers, Ommegang began brewing Belgian-style ales in 1997.
