Nadco Tapes & Labels Selects Mark Andy's Digital One Label Press

US-based Nadco Tapes & Labels has invested in Mark Andy’s Digital One label press to minimize its downtime.

Digital One is a small foot print dry-toner digital label press with high capacity.

Digital One, the entry-level unit, is made up of in-line converting and finishing, flexo decoration, and high-quality digital print.

Nadco acquired its first digital press from another manufacturer, which did not meet it expectations.

Mark Andy claims that its Digital One eliminated every issue that Nadco faced, minimising costly downtime, operator dissatisfaction and click-charges.

At Nadco, the deciding factors to invest in Mark Andy’s Digital One were its capability and application range of the digital hybrid asset. Low cost of the asset was an added bonus, as per the company.

Neil Doniger said: “Mark Andy didn’t just sell us a press, they sold us a future. At Nadco, we are proud of our ability to bend industry norms, doing things people haven’t done before and solving problems for the printing and die-cutting world.

“This digital press is an extension of that, making us one of the best-kept secrets in the converting market.”

He also said: “Lack of the need for expensive topcoat is a game changer. This flexibility paired with our current expertise in tape now allows us to service any market worldwide.”

Doniger also said that Digital One has the ability to help his business reduce stock inventory by 5%.
