Volvo Has Introduced Its Volvo XC90 SUV

Volvo has introduced its Volvo XC90 SUV, which features new range of technologies and premium design.

The car is powered by XC90 Twin Engine which unites two-litre, four-cylinder supercharged and turbocharged T6 petrol engine.

It can provide up to 400 horsepower and emit carbon dioxide of 60 g/km, the company claimed.

On the exterior the car will have an iron mark or a slash across the grille, and Thor's Hammer DRL lights.

Volvo is also offering different wheel sizes that ranges up to 22 inches.

The interior of the car is spacious and it features tablet-like touch screen control console, using the console drivers can control the car and access internet based applications.

The company has used wood, soft leather and handcrafted details to this luxurious seven seater vehicle.

The XC90 features an auto brake at intersection capability, which will bring the car to a stop if vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians suddently come in front of the car, day and night.

It also features a run-off road protection package that tightens the seatbelts automatically in case of a crash.

Volvo Car Group senior vice president of research and development Peter Mertens said: "The new technologies will take us a significant step closer to our vision that no one will be killed or seriously injured in a new Volvo car by 2020."

"Our starting point on safety is the same today as it was when the company was created almost 90 years ago: real-life situations. We study data. We crunch numbers. We innovate. The result is one of the safest cars ever made."
