Sales Volume of CAAM's Cargo Trucks up by 7.44% Year on Year in H1 2013

According to statistics of the sales volume in first half of 2013 released by CAAM, a total of 1,819,855 units of cargo trucks are sold, up by 7.44% year on year. 982,621 light cargo trucks are sold, up by 5.09% year on year. Foton, JAC, Dongfeng remain top three in this industry, accounting for almost half of the market.

Insiders believe that the cargo truck will comes to a stage with a stable development. Brand effect and product’s ratio performance are leading factors in future, especially for light cargo truck market. Seen from brands, JAC, NAVECO, FOTON OLLIN and other medium and high level product see growth rates higher than 10%. NAVECO sees a 26% growth rate. Foton Ollin CTX installed with Cummins ISF launched three years ago also maintains a sound uprising momentum.
