PRO Mach Has Acquired Packaging Machinery Provider Packaging Synergies

Pro Mach has acquired packaging machinery provider Packaging Synergies to form a new Flexible Packaging Group.

The acquisition will enable Pro Mach to offer various flexible packaging equipment solutions, adding the Toyo Jidoki and Inever brands to a flexible packaging product line comprising existing solutions from Matrix and Rennco.

The new group is said to build on the exisating Pro Mach divisions of Matrix vertical/form/fill/seal machinery and Rennco vertical baggers and heat sealers.

With the addition of Packaging Synergies assets, Pro Mach will be able to offer a complete flexible packaging product line.

According to Pro Mach, the group will market, sell, and support its expanded flexible packaging product line throughout North and South America.

Flexible Packaging Group new senior vice president Troy Snader said, "Our new group will provide a full range of flexible packaging solutions to address our growing customer needs in a variety of industries including food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemicals, and more."

Japan-based Toyo Jidoki produces automated pouch packaging machines that can be used in food, retail, and industrial applications and specialised in retortable pouches. It also provides solutions for fitment dispensing systems.

Inever in Spain produces stickpack, sachet, and four-sided seal machinery for liquid and powder applications. It provides a range of solutions from two-lane to 20-lane ultra-high speed filling systems.
