Cooper Received Runner-up Distinction in The "Best New Tire" Category

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.’s new Discoverer SRX received runner-up distinction in the "Best New Tire" category at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.

Nearly 2,000 products in 16 categories were entered in the new product awards competition. The Discoverer SRX premium SUV/CUV tire captured the judges’ attention for its superior innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability.

The Discoverer SRX features Cooper’s Wear Square visual tread life indicator, which allows consumers to easily approximate remaining tread life on tires for enhanced vehicle confidence. Additional features include compounding with a new coupled silica; 3D Micro-Gauge sipes; and  StabilEdge and Winter-Edge technology.

The tire is available in six size options. An additional 30 sizes will be available in March 2015.
