Whereas development in prices for softwood logs was stable in Norway in August and September, those for industrial soft and above all industrial hardwood continued to fall below the previous months’ levels. Data from the Norwegian agricultural agency shows that the nationwide average for spruce logs in September was NOK404/m3 ex forest road. The price thus remained unchanged at the previous month’s figure but 7% down on the figure for the same period of last year. Source: euwid-wood-products
