A Smart Teddy Bear Created by London Based:Teddy The Guardian

Teddy the Guardian can read a child's heart rate, oxygen levels and body temperature.

Teddy the Guardian, a smart teddy bear created by London based, award-winning startup ID Guardian, has debuted at CES 2015.

The Teddy features sensors that enable parents to measure their child's vitals by simply holding their teddy by the paw.

Teddy measures heart rate, oxygen levels and body temperature in four seconds and transfers the data wirelessly to the mobile app that can be accessed on a parent's phone.

'Using patent-pending technology, strategically hidden inside a plush white teddy bear made in Europe from the best materials, it’s carefully designed sensors enable parents to measure parameters without stressing out the young ones,' read a statement from creators, ID Guardian.

'Teddy the Guardian has been created to represent the perfect guardian for your little one. To celebrate the launch we will donate 100 new Teddies via our social media campaign where our community can share their idea of the perfect use case and new home for Teddy the Guardian using #DonateTeddy hashtag.'

The firm hopes to start shipping Teddy the Guardian in spring 2015.
