J&G Foods Expands Packaging Capacity with Repak RE20 Machine

Fresh meat provider J&G Foods has installed its fifth Repak RE20 form, fill and seal vacuum packaging machine Repaks for the production of vacuum and modified-atmosphere packages (MAP) from flexible and semi-rigid materials, as well as vacuum skin packages (VSP).

Reiser, the machine's manufacturer, has a long-standing relationship with J&G Foods and has been leading the food industry in processing and packaging solutions for more than 50 years.

J&G Foods' continued growth led the company to incorporate the fifth machine, which will greatly expand its packaging capabilities.

"Our five Repaks are reliable, versatile, high-performance packaging machines used for our case-ready meat programs," said Bill Leva, COO at J&G. "In a business that demands the highest of standards, we've found the Repak technology as irreplaceable as its parent organization. We rely on Reiser and their capable, responsive staff for prompt support and service whenever it's needed. Reiser continues to be a strategic partner of J&G Foods."

Roger Reiser, CEO of Reiser, Inc. added, "J&G Foods has been a valued customer of Reiser since the early 2000s and we congratulate them on their incredible expansion and success."

Implementation of a fifth Repak continues to afford the interchange of various forming molds amongst all machines, which translates into efficiency, flexibility and speed. Equally important, it assures back-up capacity for customers at all times.
