Schinnere Introduced a Stand-Alone Workers Compensation Program for Small to Midsize CO

US specialty underwriter, Victor O. Schinnerer & Company has introduced a new, stand-alone workers compensation program for small to midsize companies.

Scheduled to be offered through an "A-rated insurance carrier" for companies with moderate severity classification, the program will primarily cover employers in the construction, transportation, health care, retail, manufacturing, restaurants, and food manufacturing industries.

Minimum premium for the workers' compensation program is $5,000, while the maximum premium will be $150,000.

Schinnerer property and casualty underwriting segments vice president Corrine Nunley said procurement of workers compensation is becoming more challenging for employers in certain states.

''Our competitive, stand-alone program helps to fill this market need,'' Nunley added.

The company will serve as a program access point for retail agents and brokers.

Founded in 1938 and headquartered in Maryland, Schinnerer underwrites policies for architects, engineers, surveyors and construction consultants.
