Domino Printing Upgrades Coding and Marking Products Range

Domino Printing Sciences has upgraded its existing range of coding and marking products to incorporate the new i-Techx electronics and software platform.

The company has incorporated the technology at the majority of its x-Series portfolio, in a bid to improve the performance of the products.

Last year, Domino incorporated i-Techx technology in the Ax-series of continuous ink jet (CIJ) printers, which were successfully launched in the market.

The i-Techx electronics and software platform will help Domino’s printers to be easily incorporated into the production environment of the customers.

The platform’s integrated sensors will enable to automate system monitoring and reduce errors, as well as avoids presence of the operator.

In addition, the advanced design of the interface allows the customer to navigate the system easily, making coding an easy process for the customers.

Domino Printing Sciences CIJ global product marketing manager David Croft said: “Product traceability, anti-counterfeiting and industry regulations are driving significant growth for the global coding and marking industry.

“High print quality and code durability are key to good performance, while reduced errors and downtime are also priorities, to drive a low cost of ownership with no compromise on OEE.”

“By integrating the rest of Domino’s products into the platform, customers will be better placed to capitalise on the strengths of this technology to achieve the high level code quality required for their production lines.”

In Februray this year, Domino launched new Ax-Series printers in the UK, which can be used by customers, including global and FMCG brands, industrial and machine manufacturers.

Domino’s new CIJ printers are suitable for use in industrial packaging applications.
