Standard Furniture Mfg. Is Featured on The Home Improvement Show "Designing Spaces"

Standard Furniture Mfg. is featured this week on the "Project Homeward Bound" series on the home improvement show "Designing Spaces," airing on Lifetime TV.

Episodes will air at 7:30 a.m. Eastern and Pacific times, Sept. 25-27. The Friday show will include a final reveal of the three-part series, when the furniture Standard provides throughout the house is shown.

"Project Homeward Bound" chronicles the transformation of a dilapidated foreclosed-on home into a dream home for the Taylor family, according to Lifetime TV. Private First Class Jeff Taylor was wounded in Iraq in a mortar attack. Since his return, he and his family have lived in a cramped mobile home facing daily struggles until "Designing Spaces" and partners like Standard Furniture teamed up to renovate the house.

Tim Ussery, Tommy Turk and Sean Ros from Standard Furniture were at the Jacksonville, Fla., makeover site to help make the house a home with their furniture.

"We're so glad that Standard Furniture joined this inspiring series as a valued sponsor. Because of their generous donations, the rooms in the Taylor home are now filled with comfortable furniture the whole family will enjoy for years to come," said Lysa Liemer, executive vice president of programming and chief operating officer for "Designing Spaces" on Lifetime.
