Hyundai Australia Has Announced Its I30, IX35 and Elantra Model

Hyundai I30, IX35, Elantra Trophy Special Editions Launched

Hyundai Australia has enhanced the value of its i30, ix35 and Elantra model lines with the introduction of special edition Trophy grades that include extra equipment at driveaway prices.

The Trophy trio is based on the entry-level Active trim of each model.

Available with both the 110kW/178Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and the 94kW/260Nm 1.6-litre diesel and with manual and automatic transmissions, the Hyundai i30 Trophy gains 16-inch alloy wheels, electric folding side mirrors with LED indicators, and leather/leatherette upholstery with a premium steering wheel and gear knob over its equivalent base model.

The $21,490 driveaway price tag for the i30 Trophy petrol manual represents a $500 premium over the driveaway price for the Active petrol manual currently advertised on Hyundai Australia’s website.

Based on the newly launched Series II model, the Hyundai Elantra Trophy likewise gains 16-inch alloys and leather/leatherette treatment on the seats, steering wheel and gear knob.

The petrol-only Elantra Trophy shares its $21,490 manual and $23,990 auto driveaway prices with the i30 Trophy. Like the i30, the regular Elantra Active is currently advertised from $20,990 driveaway.

Rounding out the specials is the Hyundai ix35 Trophy, which introduces 17-inch alloy wheels, auto headlights, unique front bumper with fog lights, electric folding mirrors, rear privacy glass, glove box cooler, heated front and rear seats, and leather/leatherette seats, steering wheel and gear knob.

The Trophy package applies only to the front-wheel-drive 122kW/197Nm 2.0-litre petrol auto. Its $30,990 driveaway price represents a $1500 premium over the advertised driveaway price for an equivalent ix35 Active on the brand’s website.
