Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Has Cut Back The Prices of Steel Rebar

It is reported that the Al Ezz Dekheila Steel Company, the largest steel company in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa Region, has cut back the prices of steel rebar by EGP 200 per ton to hit EGP 4400 before tax in an attempt to acquire more orders.

According to the top official, the company also exported 32,000 tons in July to Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia at US$580/ton to US$625/ton and it has also sold 160,000 tons in the month of July.

The company is ranked 65th of the world biggest steel producers as per the World Steel Institute with total production capacity of 4.5 million tons per year, representing about three quarters of Egypt total annual production of 6 million tons
