Ubisoft has revealed every change coming to The Division in its 1.4 update, which is now available for PS4, xBox One and PC players.
To put it simply, it’s an absolutely massive update. The Division’s single player components have been completely overhauled, allowing for a more enjoyable experience.
The most notable addition is “world tiers” that match the game’s open world to multiple levels, including your own.
This means you won’t stumble into a group of overcrowded enemies with weapons and equipment powerless to stop them.
World tiers can be set to levels 30, 31, 32 or 33, and the subsequent gear drops are also tailored to which change you decide on.
Previously you would have had to grind higher level activities or contend with rival enemies packing weapons far more capable than your own.
Now, all NPC enemies will drop loot relevant to your current level and status of progression, meaning you shouldn’t come across anything useless on the streets of Manhattan.
Hundred of others changes have also been introduced, with far too many to list here. One major addition is the ability to report cheating players.
Ubisoft has also applied some significant balance changes to a range of gear, weapons and skills available in the base game.
