NYCO Flexible Packaging has invested in a new UV flexo hybrid printing technology, new printing facility and additional slitting capacity at its Kirchberg manufacturing site in Luxembourg.

NYCO sales and marketing director Sander Kool said the company has always made investments focusing on the needs of its customers.

"This investment is no different and provides our customers with access to the highest quality printing technology and the flexibility that they need in their dynamic consumer markets," Kool added.

According to the Swiss packaging producer, the new UV Flexo Hybrid machine is built by Italian manufacturer Omet.

Nyco, a Clondalkin Group company, produces shrink sleeves, lidding films and foils and reel fed material for the dairy, confectionery, pharmaceutical and beverage markets.
