IJS Recorded a Remarkable 30% Increase in Total Visitors Compared to The 2012 Edition

Serving as a strategic bridge between Europe and the Middle East and a meeting point for global jewellery traders, the 36th Istanbul Jewelry Show- March (IJS)concluded on a high note on 24 March with exhibiting space of 40, 000 square meters and 26, 523 unqiue visitors.   Organised by UBM Rotaforte, with support from Turkish Economy Bank ( Türk Ekonomi Bankas? - TEB) as the main sponsor, IJS recorded a remarkable 30% increase in total visitors compared to the 2012 edition. 26,523  unique buyers visited the Show. 19% of them were overseas visitors coming from 110 countries and regions.

The four-day event, targeting the buyers in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Africa, Russia, CIS Countries, United States and Asia,   significantly boosted business opportunities for both suppliers and buyers from all over the world. An impressive growth on international buyer attendance is recorded from Jordan, Kosova, Israel, Serbia, Syria, Libya, France, Kazakhstan, Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic, Spain, Belgium, China, Malaysia, Netherlands, Liberia, Albania, Canada, Georgia, Pakistan and United Kingdom.  The Show is once again proven to be one of the most important and world-class jewellery trade events .

In addition to the country pavilions of Hong Kong, Italy and Thailand, more than 1,000 companies from Belgium, Egypt, Germany, India, Singapore, Spain, UAE participated in IJS this year. The extended exhibitors' profile once again confirmed the  professional and international status of the Show in the jewellery industry.
