Clear Lam has developed a new packaging container, the pop-up box with Peel and ReSeal Lid, by implementing new method to improve the rigidity.
Flavor Tree brand has launched the Limited Edition Premium Dark Chocolate Pretzels with new the new packaging from Clear Lam featuring the PrimaPak packaging system.
The PrimaPak technology has been designed to offer better shelf appeal and about 70% less weight compared to plastic jars that decreases warehousing and truck shipments while improving costs and sustainability across the supply chain.
Clear Lam Packaging CEO James Sanfilippo said the company is delighted to see the new PrimaPak application on retail shelves.
"The customized design for Flavor Tree pretzels creates a gift wrapped presentation perfect for the holidays," Sanfilippo said.
"The package is made from a single roll of film on a PrimaPak bagging machine and it's really easy for consumers to use and then throw away."
The PrimaPak package is produced from custom rollstock on a PrimaPak vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machine and is said to be capable of replacing rigid cans, bottles, jars and trays.
According to the company, PrimaPak package has six sides and the technology reduces the package cube to about 30% to offer better efficiencies and improving warehousing space.
