Exclusive UK distributor Karen Wood is now on the lookout for independent stores to partner with.
Strider Sports International has appointed Karen Wood as the exclusive UK distributor for its Strider balance bikes.
Wood has worked with the brand since 2010 through Strider Bike UK and operates the largest online retailer for Strider bikes.
She is now looking to partner with independent toy retailers to further raise awareness of the brand and to get more children in the UK learning to balance and ride safely using Strider.
“In 2010, my children became the first in the UK to ride Strider," said Karen Wood, managing director, Strider Bike UK.
"After seeing first hand how they allow children to master cycling safely, naturally and fearlessly - and from such a young age - I have become a huge ambassador for the brand and I’m committed to seeing more and more young children learn to ride using balance bikes.”
Strider balance bikes promote a natural method for children to learn balance and riding skills and come complete with fully adjustable seat and handlebars.
There are two different Strider models, The Sport (a mid-level model with an RRP of £80) and The Pro (a high-end model with an RRP of £99) and the brand is supported by Striderability classes where children to ride and race Strider bikers at BMX clubs, cycling centres throughout the country.
