Premia Foods Increases Production Equipment at Its Ice Cream Facility in Tallinn, Estonia

Premia Foods, a leading producer of ice cream in Baltic, has upgraded production equipment at its ice cream facility in Tallinn, Estonia, as part of its efforts to improve efficiency of the factory.

The company has invested €750,000 for the project. It purchased a new ice cream production line from Tetra Pak.

The new equipment will allow the company to increase the speed of production by 50% per hour and reduce labor and energy costs and provide opportunities for product innovation.

In addition, Premia Foods also invested into a cone ice cream packaging machine, which will allow it to double the speed of packaging of the cone ice creams marketed under the 'Eriti Rammus', a leading brand in the Estonian ice cream market.

This will also result in the increase of production volume and the efficiency of the production on the ice cream cone line.

Premia Foods chairman of the management board Katre Kvask said that the company's success in the ice cream market is based on constant innovation and the increase of production efficiency.

"The investments made were well justified in order to strengthen our position and ensure sustainable development."

"These investments will soon enable us, among other things, to please all ice cream lovers with new products in all of our target markets," Kvask added.
