Trade Resources Industry Views Western Glove Works Has Chosen The Bluecherry Enterprise Suite

Western Glove Works Has Chosen The Bluecherry Enterprise Suite

CGS, a leading global provider of technology solutions, announced that Western Glove Works has chosen the BlueCherry Enterprise Suite.  BlueCherry will help boost efficiency and productivity, while improving planning, costing and financial reporting.

Established in 1921, Western Glove Works is a family owned company that produces denim products such as the Silver Jeans Co. and Jag brands.  Western Glove Works will utilize BlueCherry ERP, BlueCherry EDI, BlueCherry Advanced Warehouse System, BlueCherry Data Warehouse/BI, eCommerce Integration and Microsoft Dynamics AX Financials.

Due to continuing sales growth, the company has found that their current systems were inadequate and inefficient.   With the implementation of BlueCherry, Western Glove Works anticipates improved information flow, increased efficiency of transactions, and application of best business practices.

“We searched high and low for a vendor that was the best functional match for our needs and could provide a system that allowed for easy integration and collaboration across our various departments,” said Mark Lamont, Vice President of Western Glove Works. “We decided upon BlueCherry due to the positive feedback we received from other organizations as well as CGS’s abundance of resources and large, active community of users. All of these factors led us to the conclusion that BlueCherry and CGS was the best possible choice for our operation.”

“We are pleased that Western Glove Works has made the decision to adopt BlueCherry to improve their entire operation and we are looking forward to working with them,” said Paul Magel, President of the Application Solutions Group at CGS. “ In addition to improving efficiency and productivity, BlueCherry’s scalability will enable it to meet the needs of Western Glove Works as they continue to expand and will allow for integration with other systems they could implement in the future.”

Other expected benefits include improved cash flow management, enhanced service to both internal and external customers, and improved planning and reporting.
