Paper, paperboard distributor and converter in the US Semper/Exeter Paper has launched a flexible packaging films division.
The company also inked a deal with Evert-Fresh as the master supplier and distributor of Evert-Fresh products including fruits, vegetables and fresh cut flowers, which have been designed to prolong shelf life of fresh produce.
Semper/Exeter will offer a range of custom made packaging that includes a formulation, starting September 2013.
Product lines may include green bags, boxes, food containers, trays, and clamshells as well as other paper and plastic packaging options.
According to Semper/Exeter, the transaction is expected to bring a diverse offering to growers, packers, distributors and supermarkets.
