Classic Brit statements – heritage prints, sartorial sophistication and Savile Row tailoring – are given a heavy dose of Americana spirit, fusing UK tradition with east coast prep for a result that embraces The “New” England in every sense.

The brand’s signature red, white and blue color palette features strongly in the first fashion group, Boston. Navy blue, rio red, cabernet and snow white are grounded with neutral camel and gray, and enlivened with pops of cornstalk, orange clown fish and darkest spruce.

Stretch corduroy and gray flannel trousers pair effortlessly with lightweight polos, cable-knit fisherman turtlenecks, and quilted flannel shirt-jackets. The look exemplifies sophisticated sportswear with a classic Tommy twist: block stripes, patchwork prints and subtle pops of color. Texture plays a pivotal role: argyle is reinterpreted in twisted yarn, while felt and leather jackets are modernized when paired with a light nylon puffer vest.

The second stop on the trip is Middlebury, where forested hillsides influence a neutral color palette of olive, walnut, beech, toffee and tawny port. Tech meets heritage with tweed and tartan blazers, vests, and parkas, while a statement baseball jacket features leather sleeves and a tweed body.

Checkered prints, cable knits, wool and flannel create a layered look that’s perfect for exploring the great outdoors. Puffy parka jackets include sporty nylon accents, and slim fit cargo pants pair with chunky button-down sweaters or denim shirts. Meanwhile, bright pops of fern green, sulphur yellow and methyl blue add an unexpected twist to classic patterns from tweed stripes to degradé fair isles.

Additionally for Fall/Winter 2014, a bespoke selection of limited-edition windowpane checks and dark plaids have been developed in collaboration with Moon, the historic British wool mill.

The third fashion group is influenced by the seaside town of Portland. Indigo features prominently throughout in tonal blues and greens. Saxony blue, june bug, and dark spruce are paired with heathered fabrics in silver fog, charcoal, cloud gray and insignia.

Key pieces include a boiled wool duffle coat, checkered quilted blazer and flannel wool vest with copper zippering. For a fresh take on a classic, the dip-dye look has been applied in shades of indigo to cashmere and twisted yarn sweaters. The result is sleek and refined when worn with a windowpane check trouser or under a quilted blazer. Denim is also key, with dark washes for a clean, modern aesthetic.
