TTC Put Down Their Razors for The Month of November to Support Men's Health

The Toronto Transportation Club (TTC) put down their razors for the month of November to support men's health.

The month long "Movember" challenge strives to bring men's health, particulary mental health and prostrate cancer awareness, to the forefront.

The TTC recognized Movember Canada as a great cause to support because, according to the club, men's health issues affects a significant number of Canadian men.

A fundraising goal of $10,000 was set and the TTC exceeded their target by raising a grand total of $16,000 for the cause.

Participants in the Movember challenge had the chance to win prizes in several categories.

Top fundraiser, Chris Glassow of Royal Park Homes was awarded a new iPad Air.

Best Mo went to Tom Pauls of Stoakley-Dudley Consultants. Pauls won a pair of Toronto Maple Leaf Tickets.

The 2nd Best Mo went to Andrew Stapinksi, also of Stoakley-Dudley Consultants. Stapinski was awarded a pair of Toronto Maple Leaf tickets as well.

The Nice Try Mo was sported by John Marks of Cavalier Transportation. His efforts were rewarded with a $200 Keg gift certificate.

Cavalier Transportation was lauded for their efforts and given the honorable Spirit Award.
