Sinopec Raised Ex-factory Toluene Prices at Its South China Subsidiaries by Yuan 100/mt

China Petroleum and Chemical Corp, or Sinopec, raised ex-factory toluene prices at its South China subsidiaries by Yuan 100/mt, or 1.2%, on Tuesday, market sources said Tuesday.

A company source could not be contacted immediately for confirmation.

According to sources, Sinopec Guangzhou is now offering toluene at Yuan 8,550/mt or $1,148.67/mt on an import parity basis, and Sinopec Maoming is offering toluene at Yuan 8,450/mt or $1,135.07/mt on an import parity basis.

Details of the last price adjustment are not clear.
