The Link, The BBC One Game Show Inspired by Linkee, Has Been Recommissioned

BBC One show will return later this year with a new 40-episode run.

The Link, the BBC One game show inspired by Linkee, has been recommissioned.

After ranking as the number one programme in its daytime slot, The Link will return later this year with a new 40-episode run.

Host Mark Williams will also also returns to front the show.

The Link was developed by Tuvalu Entertainment and STV Productions in collaboration with Tris, Dean and Ben of Team Linkee.

"This is the best news Dean’s nan has had all year,” said Linkee’s Tristan Williams.

"She loves watching The Link and she isn’t the only one. Over a million people tuned in to every episode of the first series so hopefully they’ll be glued to the box again. And fingers crossed they’ll all rush out and buy Linkee for Christmas too.”

Linkee, now licensed to John Adams under the well-known ‘Ideal’ games brand, is available to buy in most major retailers, including Argos, John Lewis, Toys-R-Us, Amazon and a number of independent High Street stores across the UK, priced at £19.99
