Trade Resources Industry Views Energy Saving Was Promoted by Chinese Textile Body

Energy Saving Was Promoted by Chinese Textile Body

In order to implement the State Council’s second comprehensive energy saving program, the China Textile Industry Association is promoting 35 technology projects for achieving sustainable development of the textile industry.

These technology projects broadly fall into three main categories—low-carbon energy, environmental protection, and resource recycling, according to China Textile Economic Information (CTEI).

The 35 technology promotion projects include promotion of solar technology, LED energy-saving lighting technology, compressed air system energy optimization technology, cotton spinning enterprise energy system optimization technology, clothing enterprise energy-saving motor technology, steam garment enterprises to improve device technology, cooling devices for hair ring spinning technology.

Projects also involve promotion of circulating heating technology for spinning industry, energy efficient backwashing technology for wool enterprises, biodegradable (or easy recovery) slurry technology, cleaning system dissolving pulp (pulp) technology, and dope dyed technology for chemical fibre industry.

Ultra high simulation fiber extension projects, small pill and loose fiber dyeing bath ratio cryogenic technology promotion projects, water jet loom wastewater reuse technology promotion projects, intelligent information management and control systems and extension projects, digital inkjet printing technology promotion projects, digitized works to promote continuous mercerizing, and airflow dyeing technology promotion projects also among the new technological projects promoted by the textile body.

Other projects include knitted width washing technology promotion projects, ACF adsorbed gas technology projects, reeling waste water recycling technology promotion projects, mercerized light recovery technology promotion projects, heat recovery technology projects, acid gas recovery technology projects for viscose enterprises, esterification of acetaldehyde wastewater recycling technology projects, embedded spinning technology projects, and diversion and sub-quality printing and dyeing wastewater treatment and reuse technology projects.

The first textile industry energy conservation program, held last year, focused on intelligent control, printing and dyeing wastewater treatment, recycling and reuse of waste textiles and many other technologies.

Companies participating in the second textile industry energy saving program should not have received any punishment from state or local environment protection departments for last three years.
