Sun Chemical to Exhibit Advanced Inks and Ink Chemistry Platforms at Fespa 2017

Sun Chemical is set to exhibit a range of advanced inks and ink chemistry platforms at FESPA 2017 event in Hamburg, Germany.

At the event, which will take place from 8 to 12 May, the company will showcase inks and innovative ink chemistry platforms for screen, industrial and inkjet printing, as well as printed electronics.

Sun Chemical will exhibit its new FasciaCoat hardcoat varnish for dashboard fascia and SunHytek range of products for high-tech, appliance panel and automotive applications.

The company will present its capabilities and expertise within four zones at the event, including digital textiles, graphics, industrial and partnerships and technology.

SunTex textile inkjet inks have been developed to optimize Epson print-heads. The range includes SunTex Sonata DTE transfer dye sublimation ink series for printing polyester sport garments, Oeko-Tex EcoPass ink for printed garment certification and SunTex Sonata DD for direct print to polyester fabric applications.

In addition, the range includes SunTex Encore PDE pigment ink that will improve colour vibrancy and SunTex Concerto RDE reactive dye ink series that will improve colour vibrancy on fabrics such as silk and cotton.

The company has developed SunPromo range of inks for use in a range of screen graphic applications, while Streamline range of solvent-based and alternative inkjet inks for wide and super wide format printers.

Streamline ESL is a fully colour-matched and compatible ink series that was developed based on HPQ-LO (high print quality – low odour) backbone ink chemistry platform.

Streamline Rapide Magenta and Yellow SWF solvent inks were developed for large format graphic printers.

The company will also exhibit industrial products such as SunHytek heat and humidity-resistant ink solutions, SunCarte colour consistent screen and offset inks, as well as SunPoly screen inks developed for high-speed screen printing on different container substrates.
