Neo Fluidic Elantra Is Unveiled by Hyundai in India

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL), a subsidiary of South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor, has launched the new neo Fluidic Elantra sedan in India.

The new sedan is offered with two powertrain options, which include a 1.8L petrol dual VTVT engine and the 1.6L diesel VGT CRDi engine.

According to the carmaker, the petrol engine will deliver a maximum power of 149.5PS and 18.1kgm of peak torque, while the diesel engine offers 128PS of maximum power and 26.5Kgm of torque.

Both the petrol and diesel engine variants can be mated either to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, which is claimed to offer a mileage of 16.3kmpl and 22.7kmpl respectively.

Safety and security features of the new sedan include vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), six airbags, hill-start assist control (HAC), Speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing auto door unlock.

The rear parking camera with display on electro chromic mirror (ECM) together with the parking sensors will assist safe and easy parking.
