Sun Chemical Acquired The Left Over Grupo Shares of The I Mundial in Its Venture Companies

Sun Chemical Group has acquired the left over shares of the Inversiones Mundial (Grupo Mundial) in its Colombian joint venture companies Tintas and Sinclair.

Sun Chemical Acquires Shares of Colombian Ink Supplier

The Tintas/Sinclair Group sells printing inks and related graphic arts products to the packaging market in the Andean region of Latin America and has reported annual sales over $100m.

The transaction is expected to strengthen Sun Chemical's position in the printing ink business across growing Latin American market.

Sun Chemical president and CEO Rudi Lenz said the company proposes to bring its customers the quality products and new solutions they expect.

"Tintas and Sinclair are the market leaders of printing inks and related products in a region where the economies are growing," Lenza added.
