RMG Plascomp Orders a Systec 160 Hydraulic Injection Molding Machine

Material recycling and re-manufacturing company RMG Plascomp has ordered a Systec 160 hydraulic injection molding machine from Sumitomo (SHI) Demag UK.

Sumitomo already offers service for clients who want their products to be manufactured, packed, stored and distributed globally by a single provider and the new machine is expected to increase its capabilities.

Sumitomo Demag Central Area sales manager Kevin Heap said the machine is flexible and accommodates any number of injection molding variations.

"The short cycle times and high degrees of precision ensures it delivers maximum efficiency with a superb price/performance ratio and our servo-pump option reduces energy consumption by up to 45%," Heap said.

The single-shot Systec 160 is due for delivery in June 2013.
