LearnKey Announced That Its Video Courseware Improved Certification Pass Rates

African students who were given LearnKey's video-based training passed their Microsoft certification exam at a rate of 91 percent, compared with a 20 percent pass rate for students with no access to LearnKey training.

ST. GEORGE, UT, October 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- LearnKey announced today that its video courseware improved certification pass rates for African students taking Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) exams by 355 percent. LearnKey, a premier, global provider of self-paced training video courseware solutions, recently began providing its OnlineExpert courseware to Certified Learning Solutions (Ghana) LTD, a provider of leading IT and computer user certification exams.

After utilizing LearnKey's MTA Networking, Administrator and Security Fundamentals training, a pilot group of 148 exam candidates were able to achieve an overall pass rate of 91 percent. The previous average pass rate for those with no access to LearnKey MTA certification training was 20 percent.

"The difference was amazing," says Ransford Mensah, Principal Consultant at Certified Learning Solutions. "We expected to see improvement, but we were overjoyed with the results, and so were our customers. LearnKey training has made all the difference in how knowledgeable our customers can become in a very short time, and how well they are then prepared for the exam. LearnKey has become our staple of training resources and we feel confident we are giving our customers the best solution we can offer."

LearnKey's online video training does not require broadband Internet connectivity, which is not always available in developing countries. LearnKey's technology is able to localize the multimedia content at the computer itself through use of its MediaPoint CD and DVD options; the video-based courses can actually use less bandwidth than is required for average Internet browsing.

"By simply placing a disc in the PC's optical drive, OnlineExpert is able to retrieve all the multimedia content it needs and students feel like they have magically tapped into a broadband Internet connection," says LearnKey's CEO, Jeff Coruccini. "This enables us to deliver and scale a low cost, superior eLearning solution anywhere in the world"

"No one other than LearnKey has been able to provide this quality of training so successfully into the diverse regions of Ghana and at such an acceptable price point," says Mensah. "We have proven that and now we are expanding our scope and will make LearnKey courses available to our customers in other African countries. Until we catch up with easily available broadband Internet and low cost data, LearnKey has given us the solution that fills the gap in assisting our customers to become equally trained and to pass exams on par with any region of the globe."

Certified Learning Solutions currently has plans to adopt the use of LearnKey OnlineExpert training in countries such as Kenya, Nigeria, Liberia and Gambia as it expands its operations and IT learning solutions.
