China's Total Foreign Trade Value Amounted to $378.481 Billion

In July of the current year, China's total foreign trade value amounted to $378.481 billion, indicating a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on August 8. In the given period, the total value of China's exports amounted to $212.891 billion, up 14.5 percent, while Chinese imports totaled $165.591 billion in value, down 1.6 percent, resulting in a trade surplus of $47.3 billion, all on year-on-year basis.

In the January-July period of the current year, China's foreign trade value amounted to $2.399661 trillion, up 2.0 percent, with a total export value of $1.275111 trillion, increasing by three percent, and a total import value of $1.12455 trillion, up one percent, all year on year. The trade surplus for the period in question was $150.561 billion.
