According to Kyodo News, the trade statistics released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance on the 27th (in clearance date) data showed, in early February (Feb.1-Feb.10), Japan’s trade balance deficit was 395.1 billion yen (about 27 billion yuan). It was the 8th continuous month that has trade deficit. In the same period of 2012, it was a surplus of 5.2 billion yen.
The export was 1,610.8 million yen, a year-on-year decline of 13.5%. Exports of products such as automotive and semiconductor decreased much. Imports amounted to 2,006 billion yen, a year-on-year growth of 8.0%. Imports of clothing and mobile phones increased.
