Xeikon to Exhibit Digital Printing Solutions at Ipex 2017

Xeikon is set to exhibit a range of digital printing solutions for the graphic arts, label and packaging industries at this year’s IPEX event in the UK.

The event will take place between 31 October and 3 November in Birmingham.

Xeikon produces various digital technologies for different end-use applications, including short-run wallpaper, photobooks, documents with security features, high-end labels for spirits, food-safe labels, pharma leaflets and folding carton packaging for health and beauty.

At the event, the firm will exhibit its advanced solutions from its dry toner and UV inkjet segments, including CX500 digital label press.

Xeikon CX500 digital label press, which is based on dry toner platform that is ready for Industry 4.0, will be used to produce larger sized labels and opaque white or extended colour gamut labels.

The press has web width of up to 520mm full rotary printing technology and printing speed of 30m per minute.

The firm will also exhibit Panther series of UV inkjet digital label presses, including high-end Xeikon PX3000 and entry-level Xeikon PX2000.

Both presses are available with four-color and five-color configuration and run PantherCure UV inks that use a combination of LED and mercury UV lights for curing.

In addition, the company will exhibit Xeikon X-800 front-end press that can be used in variable data applications.

Xeikon area sales manager Duncan Sargeant said: “IPEX is a great opportunity to inform and advice UK printing businesses on the numerous label, packaging and graphic arts end-user applications that can be profitably produced with Xeikon’s digital printing solutions.

“We look forward meeting visitors to discuss ways to do things differently, expand their service offering and add value, profitability and efficiency to their print production.”
