US Crude Steel Output Totaled 1.83 Million Short Tons in The Week Ended on January 11th

According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US’s crude steel output totaled 1.83 million short tons in the week ended on January 11th, down by 0.1% from the same time of a year earlier but rising by 0.4% from a week ago.

In the given period of time, the capability utilization of the US steelmakers averaged at 76.4%, higher than 76.5% in the same period of a year ago.
