Glass container manufacturer Owens-Illinois (O-I) has developed a new glass packaging called Covet Classics for Colombian rum producer Fabrica de Licores de Antioquia (FLA).
The new glass bottle has been designed for FLA's limited-edition rum released under its Ron Maestro collection.
Covet Classics' label features Nobel laureate Gabriel Garci-a Mirquez's (Gabo) face surrounded by the titles of his various literary works and a number of colorful butterflies.
The glass bottle for FLA's spirit is manufactured at O-I's manufacturing facility located in Soacha, Colombia.
The new bottle is said to fully capture the essence of the spirit as well as the heritage and legacy of Gabo.
