Adcraft Labels Wins 21 Awards in Piasc Print Excellence Competition

Adcraft Labels is proud to announce it recently earned 21 awards at the 13th Annual Regional Print Excellence Awards held by PIASC. The awards included four Best of Category, six Awards of Excellence, and 11 Certificates of Merit for outstanding label and package printing.

President and CEO of Adcraft Labels, Keith Mottram said, "While we were excited to hear our name called four different times during the program for Best of Show awards, our real excitement came when we realized that three of the four awards were for labels that we had produced using our new one-of-a-kind JetFlex Technology. It proves that our digital-flexo hybrid press was worth the investment."

Adcraft's proprietary JetFlex Technology™ workflow allows clients to do more than they could ever afford before. They can produce a label using flexo features like custom colors and tinted foils, then change, on the fly, all of the CMYK+white graphics. Clients will have an improved embellished label that also eliminates plate and screen costs. Add in digital capabilities, like variable data, and you have an award winning combination.

The digital capabilities of JetFlex Technology™ provide manufacturers of consumer packaged goods  (CPGs), personal care products, Nutraceutical products, craft beers and other high volume users of labels and packaging, with the ability to personalize packaging with variable text and images while still maintaining brand consistency across a number of product lines.

JetFlex Technology™ allows Adcraft Labels to use true Pantone® colors, not a mixture of CMYK, for consistent branding across all product lines.

The JetFlex Technology™ ink system is so durable that in many cases varnish and laminates can be eliminated. The inks can also have a texture and thickness that gives a tactile effect without varnish or embossing. The digital opaque white ink rivals that produced by screen-printing and provides brand owners the ability to use multiple colors on a clear label. This is a huge improvement over traditional flexo, screen and digital printing.

A variety of innovative digital-flexo techniques lead to the awards including variable print with textured inks, and multilayered security printing. The four Best of Categories include Promotional Campaigns, Business to Business; Special Innovation-Other; Specialty Inks or Coatings, Fragrances, or Invisible Printing Inks; Special Innovation, Printing.
